West Virginia Is Controlled By Coal Thugs. 

If you speak out against coal you are threatened.  

Supporters of coal show up at protests against coal and speak out in support of the decimation of landscape, brainwashing, and killing of people.

In addition to killing people - look at what it does to our mountains and environment.   We may as well change the WV state slogan from "Wild Wonderful West Virginia" to:

"West Virginia - come see what we have done to the mountains and our population - it's good to be a Mountaineer!"  

Actually, that slogan won't work either because there will be no more mountains.  You can't be a Mountaineer without mountains..so lets see...how about we call ourselves....

Flat-toppers?

"West Virginia - nestled in the stubs and bases of mountains that were formally the Appalachian mountains. We have strategically blown the tops off of our mountains instead of utilizing them in ways such as Colorado or other tourist states have done.  We figure..those states get visitors because of their mountains..so lets be different and blow ours up.  Once coal is depleted, we won't have encouraged our "youngsters" to attend college or to be creative entrepeneurs because we will have wanted them to carry on the family tradition of environmental destruction and ignorance.   So in addition to living in a badland of waste and pollution..we won't be able to contribute to the workforce either.   Yeeehaaaa!!!!
